Lent begins this Wednesday!
Lent invites us into a sacred rhythm of slowing. It is a season to pause, pay attention, and make room for God as we move toward Easter.
If your soul is longing for stillness, presence, and every day embodied living in this season, I’d love to share a few opportunities and resources with you. I need it and I bet you do too, just scroll down for more.
🌿 Quiet Day Retreat in Lebanon, TN
Join me on Friday, February 27th, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Lebanon First United Methodist Church (LFUMC)!
Lent is a 40-day journey in the Christian tradition. This season offers a fitting time for a Quiet Day Retreat, a gentle opportunity to step away from urgency and practice presence in community.
This FREE day retreat will include open time for quiet personal reflection, guided meditation, prayer stations, access to the church’s prayer garden, and an optional restful yoga session. A light lunch will be provided, and no prior yoga or retreat experience is needed. This is a FREE event, but you must RSVP.
All are welcome to move at their own pace and choose from a variety of reflective practices, including journaling, walking, creating, resting, or praying.
This event is hosted by LFUMC and CU Wesley. Guided reflections and optional yoga will be facilitated by me, Whitney Simpson.
